2021 Ranfurly Shield Squad
North Otago Coaches Jason Forrest and Shane Carter would like to congratulate the following players who have been selected in a preliminary Ranfurly Shield Training Squad for the challenge against Hawkes Bay on Wednesday, June 30th at McLean Park in Napier.
This will mark North Otago's third successive challenge for the Ranfurly Shield, having played Canterbury in 2020 and Otago in 2019. It will also be the first time North Otago has played Hawkes Bay in a Ranfurly Shield match, and the first match between the two sides since the 2005 NPC Second Division Semi Final, won 15-11 by Hawkes Bay.
